The STELLA 2017 nose is most enticing with upfront
notes of fynbos florae, ripe black cherries and petrichor,
seasoned with the perfect amount of white pepper. It is
quite spicy but has a clean red berry perfume that can be
attributed to the long, perfect growing season of 2017. It
is full-bodied and packed with ripe, textured grape tannins
that were extracted during the “hands-off”, whole-bunch
natural fermentation, while the finish is long and decadent
with its beautifully preserved natural acidity.
